Welcome to Vignobles Meynard! Three generations of winemakers have succeeded one another to create wines that embody the essence of this terroir. Located in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards, the family estate covers 45 hectares spread over 3 appellations: Bordeaux, Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux and Saint Emilion.
The product of the reunion of two vinegrowing and winemaking families, the Vignobles Meynard are headed by Christelle and Jean-Francois, who are leading this wine estate on a path of respect for the exquisite Bordeaux winemaking traditions without falling into the traps of complacency and conservatism. The estate is certified organic since 2023, meaning that the vines have been cultivated fully organically since 2020.
The Vignobles Meynard wines feature Bordeaux wines typicity with a cleanliness, controlled tannic power and an expressive fruitiness and spiciness that reflect the care with which they are produced, from the vineyard to the cellar.

Chateau Platon is made of 70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc. It is a well-balanced wine with a gentle tannic touch and hints of red fruits. Easy to drink while still filling the mouth nicely with a full body and soft lingering tannins, it is an all round kind of wine, pairing beautifully with a whole array of dishes from meat to pasta to oven-baked gratins as well as cheeses. An excellent introduction to modern Bordeaux wines.
