Château de Rhodes - Blanc 2023 (white/vitt)

Located in Gaillac in the Languedoc, Château de Rhodes crafts beautiful wines that reflect the ancient winemaking tradition of this southwestern region with its typical grape varieties and make the most of its distinctive hilly landscape.

The vineyards are cultivated with organic cultivation methods and the work in the cellar focuses on expressing the specificity of the terroir. The harvest is controlled by careful vineyard management: justified pruning, natural cover crops, careful thinning of shoots and thoughtful leaf removal.

After having introduced some of their exquisite red wines, we are now happy to bring to this selection two white wines, including this « Château de Rhodes Blanc », the estate’s main white wine.

Made out of a blend of Loin de l’œil, Mauzac, Muscadelle and Ondenc grapes, it offers a complex nose with hints of lemon, apple, tarragon, and anise. On the palate, it remains lively and even until the finish, echoing the aromas perceived on the nose.

A well-mannered distinct Gaillac white wine that will pair adequately with a wide array of seafood, white meat and typical Summer fare. (salads, tapas etc.)
