Château de Rhodes - Mauzac Ondenc 2022 (vitt/white)

Located in Gaillac in the Languedoc, Château de Rhodes crafts beautiful wines that reflect the ancient winemaking tradition of this southwestern region with its typical grape varieties and make the most of its distinctive hilly landscape.

The vineyards are cultivated with organic cultivation methods and the work in the cellar focuses on expressing the specificity of the terroir. The harvest is controlled by careful vineyard management: justified pruning, natural cover crops, careful thinning of shoots and thoughtful leaf removal.

Made with the typical Gaillac grapes Mauzac and Ondenc, both harvested from the vines closest to the castle of Rhodes, this white wine has a powerful and distinctive signature with white flowers and white fruits aromas combined with a pleasant salinity and a good tension in the end.

A white wine aromatic and fresh enough to be appreciated on its own while also having the structure and complexity to be paired nicely with any kind of seafood, from grilled crab to Pasta allo Scoglio to shrimp salad.
