Marie Rocher - Les Valseuses 2020 (mousserande rosé/sparkling rosé) : Natural beauty

Marie Rocher is a new winemaker who has been dealing with wine for a long time. Editing and publishing books about wine for many years, she decided to move to actually producing the stuff about 5 years ago and after being trained by some of the best natural winemakers she released her first vintage in 2018, which we were happy to introduce to Sweden.

Right from the start Marie focused on producing a natural sparkling wine (also called 'petnat') made of Gamay grapes, as it is a kind of wine she personaly enjoys a lot. And so come 'Les Valseuses', a distinct sparkling rosé with no added sulfites for a completely natural experience,and enjoyment.

Served chilled at 8 to 10°C, this sparkling wine has strong enough taste to not only be enjoyed alone as a starter but also to be paired with light food.
