Bajaj is a family winery in the Roero region, Piedmont, Italy. The vineyard is small (4 hectars) and the focus is on quality and being faithful to the Roero style of wines and to traditional winemaking methods.
Among the different cuvées of the Bajaj estate, it is their Roero Nebbiolo that made the strongest impression on us, for we see it as a superb expression of what a Roero Nebbiolo can and should be: typical fruity notes veiled in smoke of Nebbiolo, distinct finesse supported by velvet tannins of Roero. Sounds good to you ? Well then it will also taste so.
Pairs nicely with long-aged cheeses, courses with meat-based sauce or fatty red meat, it will also be a first choice for truffle-based dishes as well as to accompany dark chocolate temptations.
