This is the second vintage of this wine made of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc that we bring to Sweden. Compared to the 2016 vintage, the 2018 one comes with a much higher aromatic intensity (red and black fruits) while keeping the purity and genuineness of its predecessor. A great wine to drink now, and one showing great ageing potential as well. Once again the Perraud brothers offer us a hard to beat price for value deal.
A perfect wine to surprise family and friends around a meal of roasted beef with garlic or of 7-hour lamb. Enjoy !

Grape variety : Cabernet Franc (55%), Cabernet Sauvignon (45%)
Age of the vines : 10 to 20 years
Surface : 1,4 ha
Soil : Sand and clay with pebbles on granite and gabbro bedrock.
Harvest : Selective, by hand, with a yield of 14hl/ha in 2016.
Natural winemaking process :

12 days maceration 70% destemmed, 30% in whole clusters

fermentation through natural indigenous yeasts only, no added enzymes nor bacteria, no fining

vatting and racking using conveyor belt (better protects the grapes' aroma)

free-run juice and press juice are blended

maturation for as long as is necessary !
