NEW La Trochoire - Les 3 Gaillards 2023 (vitt/white): Chenin from the heart of Loire Valley

Bastien Rocour has been making wine for close to 10 years now at La Trochoire, close to Chinon, in the heart of the Loire valley, and this still young winemaker has immediately made a strong impression with his white wines made with the Chenin blanc grapes iconic for the region.

Les 3 Gaillards is the main cuvée of the estate, offering a lighter, fresher expression of the Chenin grape than the other white wine of the estate: Elisabeth. 
Aged for 14 months in a mix of oak barrels of different sizes and egg-shaped stainless steel vats in order to achieve a particular balance between the tannic structure and the roundness of the wine, Les 3 Gaillards 2023 offers a nose of white fruits, citrus, pastry and slightly smoky notes. A balanced palate offers a beautiful texture and a lively, fresh and savory finish.

Enjoy served around 11°C with fish, cheese, or even simply as an aperitif.
